On the 16th (Mon), delve into the distant past at Pantheon, then explore the ancient world of Colosseum, then delve into the distant past at Palatine Hill, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri. Keep things going the next day: admire the masterpieces at Vatican Museums, then steep yourself in history at St. Peter's Basilica, and then view the masterpieces at Art Gallery Roma.
