Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 2 hours traveling from Bangkok to Matsuyama. Get out of town with these interesting Takamatsu side-trips: Marugame Castle (in Marugame), Kyu Zentsujikaikosya (in Zentsuji) and Naoshima-cho (Naoshima, Chichu Art Museum, &more). The port city of Kochi has a rich and varied history that has left its mark on the look and feel of the urban area.
