Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Let the collections at Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum capture your imagination. For shopping fun, head to Renssen Art Gallery or Peter Pappot Art Gallery. Explore Amsterdam's surroundings by going to Canals area (in Utrecht), De Hege Gerzen (in Oudemirdum) and Groninger Museum (in Groningen). Cairo, Egypt to Amsterdam is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or drive. Located in the South Holland province, Rotterdam is one of the Netherlands' most lively cities, as well as one of the largest trading ports in the world.
Start off your visit on the 31st (Fri): admire the striking features of St. John's Cathedral, then take an in-depth tour of World Heritage Kinderdijk, and then make a trip to Rotterdam Centraal Station. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: buy something for everyone on your list at Markthal, examine the collection at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, and then take in the views from Erasmus Bridge.
