Many tour guides skip Rennes, a "City of Art and History," but that doesn't mean you should.
Explore Rennes' surroundings by going to Dinard (Promenade du Clair de Lune & Eglise Anglicane Saint Bartholomew), Saint-Malo (Grand Aquarium, Les Remparts de Saint-Malo, &more) and Centre Historique (in Dinan). There's still lots to do: walk around Parc du Thabor, make a trip to Centre Historique de Rennes, pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedrale Saint-Samson, and get to know the fascinating history of Pointe du Grouin.
