On the 27th (Fri), stop by Odaiba District and then don't miss a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine. On the next day, take an in-depth tour of Edo-Tokyo Museum, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Senso-ji Temple, then explore the world behind art at Tokyo National Museum, and finally have some family-friendly fun at Owl Cafe Akiba Fukurou.

Jakarta, Indonesia to Tokyo is an approximately 12-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Western Indonesia Time to Japan Standard Time is 2 hours. Traveling from Jakarta in March, things will get colder in Tokyo: highs are around 17°C and lows about 7°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Sat) to allow time to travel to Ise.

A spiritual center of Shintoism, Ise stands as a traditional city where visitors can see the roots of Japanese culture in a number of well-preserved natural and historic sites.
On the 29th (Sun), take in the spiritual surroundings of Futami Okitama Shrine, take in the spiritual surroundings of Ise Grand Shrine, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sarutahiko Shrine, contemplate the long history of Oharai-machi, then examine the collection at Okageza, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Ise Shrine Geku.

Traveling by train from Tokyo to Ise takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of flight and train. Expect slightly colder weather when traveling from Tokyo in March: highs in Ise hover around 13°C, while lows dip to 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Sun) so you can drive to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Toji. Kinkaku-ji and Gion are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of Kyoto with an excursion to Dotombori District in Dotombori--about 1h 10 min away. The adventure continues: contemplate the long history of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sanjusangendo Temple, don't miss a visit to Nijo Castle, and explore the historical opulence of Osaka Castle.

Getting from Ise to Kyoto by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: take a train; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Ise in March, expect little chillier with lows of 5°C in Kyoto. Finish your sightseeing early on the 1st (Wed) to allow enough time to take a train to Hiroshima.

Traveling by train from Kyoto to Hiroshima takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In April, daily temperatures in Hiroshima can reach 22°C, while at night they dip to 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Fri) early enough to travel to Miyakojima.
