Start off your visit on the 10th (Fri): view the masterpieces at Chiyoda Nyan To Naru Cafe. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 14 hour difference. Traveling from Boston in July, expect somewhat warmer with lows of 74°F in Tokyo. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel to Nagoya.

Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Aichi Prefecture Sports Complex. You can take a train from Tokyo to Nagoya in 2.5 hours. Other options are to fly; or drive. In July in Nagoya, expect temperatures between 83°F during the day and 74°F at night. On the 14th (Tue), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can take a train to Kyoto.

Traveling by train from Nagoya to Kyoto takes an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Nagoya in July, you will find days in Kyoto are somewhat warmer (89°F), and nights are about the same (76°F). Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Wed) so you can catch the train to Osaka.
