For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
On the 30th (Thu), browse the exhibits of Gallery Galleon and then stop by Isla Vida. On the 1st (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get great views at Puerto Ferro Lighthouse, then delve into the distant past at El Hombre de Puerto Ferro, and then explore the activities along Sun Bay Beach.

Fajardo is a small city and municipality in Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the east region of the island, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, north of Ceiba and east of Luquillo. Kick off your visit on the 5th (Tue): kick back and relax at Flamenco Beach and then examine the collection at Museo Historico de Culebra.
