Andalucía’s thousand-year-old city, Córdoba, was once the capital of both the Roman Empire and the Moorish Kingdom, representing an alluring mix of cultural and political history.
On the 18th (Sat), stop by Ceramica Alcaide, make a trip to Calleja del Panuelo, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba, then take in the views from Roman Bridge, and finally browse the eclectic array of goods at Mercado Victoria. Keep things going the next day: take an in-depth tour of Palacio de Viana, make a trip to Patios de Cordoba, view the masterpieces at Sala el Potro, then wander the streets of Jewish Quarter (Juderia), and finally don't miss a visit to Historic Centre of Cordoba.

A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
Start off your visit on the 20th (Mon): take in the exciting artwork at Un Gato en Bicicleta, explore the galleries of Royal Alcázar of Seville, and then admire the landmark architecture of Plaza de Espana. On the 21st (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: pick up a one of a kind souvenir at Antiguedades el Museo, wander the streets of Barrio Santa Cruz, enjoy breathtaking views from Torre Giralda, then look for gifts at La Oleoteca de Sevilla. Traveling from Cordoba in May, you will find days in Seville are little chillier (30°C), and nights are about the same (17°C).
