Once the most important harbor in the Mediterranean Sea, Genoa has a long history as a rich and powerful trade center in northern Italy.
Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Baia del Silenzio and Swimming Cetacea Tour Boat. Step out of Genoa to go to Santa Margherita Ligure and see Santa Margherita Ligure, which is approximately 46 minutes away. Porto Venere is a town and comune (municipality) located on the Ligurian coast of Italy in the province of La Spezia. Kick off your visit on the 4th (Mon): take in the architecture and atmosphere at San Pietro Church, then do a tasting at De Gustibus, and then wander the streets of Portovenere. On the 5th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: don't miss a visit to Santuario della Madonna Bianca - Chiesa di San Lorenzo, stop by Le Mie Sete - Atelier Artistico Artigianale, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at La Baia Blu - Stabilimento Balneare.
