On the 31st (Fri), kick back and relax at Yonehara Beach, visit a coastal fixture at Cape Hirakubozaki, and then enjoy breathtaking views from Tamatorizaki Observatory. New Delhi, India to Ishigaki is an approximately 10.5- hour flight. The time zone difference when traveling from New Delhi to Ishigaki is 3.5 hours. When traveling from New Delhi in May, plan for colder days and about the same nights in Ishigaki: temperatures range from 34°C by day to 28°C at night. Iriomote-jima

Taketomicho Iriomote-Jima stands as the second largest island in Okinawa.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): step off the mainland to explore Iriomote Island, then enjoy the sand and surf at Ida no Hama Beach, and then admire the sheer force of Mizuochi Falls. Keep things going the next day: skim along the rocks with a canyoning and rapelling tour and then paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour.

You can ride a ferry from Ishigaki to Iriomote-jima in an hour. In June in Iriomote-jima, expect temperatures between 37°C during the day and 32°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Mon) early enough to catch the ferry to Miyakojima.

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Relax by the water at Sunayama Beach and Toguchi no Hama. Take a break from the city and head to Aragusuku Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. There's still lots to do: visit a coastal fixture at Higashi Hennazaki Lighthouse, take in the views from Irabu Ohashi, step off the mainland to explore Shimojiiima Island, and get outside with Yonaha Maehama Beach.

Getting from Iriomote-jima to Miyakojima by ferry takes about 4 hours. In June, daily temperatures in Miyakojima can reach 36°C, while at night they dip to 30°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Thu) so you can travel to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and Kodai-ji Temple. Do some cultural sightseeing at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Nijo Castle. Change things up with a short trip to Dotombori in Dotombori (about 1h 10 min away). Next up on the itinerary: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kinkaku-ji, wander the streets of Gion, steep yourself in history at Sanjusangendo Temple, and don't miss a visit to Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

You can do a combination of flight and train from Miyakojima to Kyoto in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and tram; or do a combination of flight and bus. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Miyakojima in June; daily highs in Kyoto reach 32°C and lows reach 22°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Sun) so you can catch the train to Tokyo.
