Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Blu Riviera as well as The Corner Bieres Et Barbes. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Nice: Le Nomade (in Antibes), Cannes (La Croisette, Rue d'Antibes, &more) and Scuba & Snorkeling (in Frejus). The 2013 European "Capital of Culture," Marseille is the largest port city on the breezy Mediterranean coast and the second largest city in France.
On the 5th (Fri), don't miss a visit to Randonnees theatrales Marcel Pagnol Cie Dans la cour des Grands, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathédrale La Major, and then see the interesting displays at Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations. Keep things going the next day: take a stroll through The Panier, thentake in the waterfront at Le Vieux Port, thencontemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde, and finally relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas.

Traveling by car from Nice to Marseille takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. When traveling from Nice in June, plan for somewhat warmer days in Marseille, with highs around 33°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Avignon.

An ancient town center surrounded by medieval ramparts, Avignon is a major city of Provence and a Mediterranean city in the Vaucluse department on the left bank of the Rhône River.
On the 7th (Sun), head off the coast to Ile de la Barthelasse, brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Distillerie A. Blachere, thentake in the views from Pont d'Avignon, thenstep into the grandiose world of Palais des Papes, and finally stop by Place Des Carmes.

Best known as a fortified town, Carcassonne is a walled city that provided the inspiration for the castle in Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" and the location for many scenes in Kevin Costner's movie "Robin Hood." For a daily dose of excitement, medieval jousting tournaments are held twice per day between the two walls--while this may sound like a typical touristy show, it's actually an entertaining display of combative competition and horsemanship.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Mon): admire the local landmark of Fountain of Neptune, learn about winemaking at O'Vineyards, step into the grandiose world of Chateau Comtal, thensteep yourself in history at Cathar Castles, and finally visit Cité de Carcassonne.
