Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Colosseum and Piazza Navona. Your inner history buff will appreciate Pantheon and Palatine Hill. Step out of Rome to go to Falvaterra and see Grotte di Falvaterra, which is approximately 1h 35 min away. There's still lots to do: browse the exhibits of Vatican Museums, ponder the design of Trevi Fountain, explore the different monuments and memorials at Catacombs of Saint Callixtus, and steep yourself in history at Roman Forum.

Attractions like Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Florence Academy of Fine Arts make great kid-friendly stops. Do your shopping at Mercato Centrale and I'Mago. Step out of Florence to go to San Gimignano and see Guardastelle Vineyard, which is approximately 1h 5 min away. Take a break from the city and head to Jamaica Beach and Spiaggia Punta Gro.
