Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Head to Ginza and Asakusafor plenty of shopping. Do some cultural sightseeing at Odaiba District and Senso-ji Temple. There's still lots to do: explore the galleries of Tokyo National Museum, examine the collection at Edo-Tokyo Museum, ponder the world of politics at Imperial Palace, and stop by Stockplus.

Mumbai, India to Tokyo is an approximately 12-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone difference when traveling from Mumbai to Tokyo is 3.5 hours. Traveling from Mumbai in June, things will get little chillier in Tokyo: highs are around 30°C and lows about 22°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 4th (Tue) so you can go by car to Fujikawaguchiko-machi.

A resort town located in the foothills of Mount Fuji, Fujikawaguchiko-machi acts as a base for many who plan to take one of the trails up the iconic volcano.
Kick off your visit on the 5th (Wed): explore the striking landscape of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. On your second day here, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Ishiwari, thentake your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Shakushi, and then explore the activities along Lake Kawaguchi.

Getting from Tokyo to Fujikawaguchiko-machi by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: take a bus. Traveling from Tokyo in June, expect nights in Fujikawaguchiko-machi to be about the same, around 21°C, while days are a bit cooler, around 23°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Thu) early enough to drive to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Dotombori District and Kyo no Takumi. Visit Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Kinkaku-ji for their historical value. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kyoto: Nara Park (in Nara) and Jishu Shrine (in Otsu). There's lots more to do: step into the grandiose world of Nijo Castle, take a stroll through Gion, steep yourself in history at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sanjusangendo Temple.

Traveling by car from Fujikawaguchiko-machi to Kyoto takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and train; or fly. When traveling from Fujikawaguchiko-machi in June, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Kyoto: temperatures range from 32°C by day to 22°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Sun) early enough to take a train to Hiroshima.
