Motobu-cho

Formed by the gradual merging of several old fishing villages, today the island town of Motobu-cho boasts paradisal beaches of white sand, clear waters, and a rich array of wildlife.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Sat): discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, don't miss a visit to Kouri Ohashi, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Okinawa Memorial Park Ocean Expo Park. Here are some ideas for day two: go for a walk through Bise no Fukugi Tree Road, then meet the residents at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, and then get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Okichan Theater.

Kyoto

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Change things up with a short trip to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka (about 1h 15 min away). There's lots more to do: contemplate the long history of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Ryoanji Temple, take a stroll through Gion, and hunt for treasures at Nishiki Market Shopping District.

You can take a train from Hiroshima to Kyoto in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and train. April in Kyoto sees daily highs of 22°C and lows of 11°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Sun) to allow time to fly to Tokyo.

Tokyo

Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
When in Tokyo, make a side trip to see Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama, approximately Maihama away. Have a day of magic on the 13th (Wed) at Tokyo Disneyland.
