Pilgrims and aviators come to Narita, a town known during the Edo period for its temple, and now known primarily for its airport.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple Main Gate and Sakatagaike Comprehensive Park. Get out of town with these interesting Narita side-trips: Mt. Otowa Kiyomizu Temple (in Isumi) and Honda Collection Hall (in Motegi-machi). The adventure continues: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Three-storied Pagoda, admire the sheer force of Yuhi Falls, indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, and stroll around Sanrizuka Sakura no Oka.

For reviews, ratings, where to stay, and other tourist information, refer to the Narita day trip tool.
