Called the "White City" thanks to the color of its World Heritage-listed architectural landmarks, Tel Aviv serves as Israel's modern and cosmopolitan second city.
Tel Aviv Museum of Art and Palmach Museum will appeal to museum buffs. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like The American Colony and White City. Change things up with a short trip to Safari Park in Ramat Gan (about 34 minutes away). On the 9th (Fri), give your taste buds a day to remember with a local gastronomic tour. Spend the 12th (Mon) exploring nature at Ramat Gan National Park. There's lots more to do: take a stroll through Jaffa Old City, get engrossed in the history at Beit Hatfutsot - The Museum of the Jewish People, tour the pleasant surroundings at Frishman Beach, and take a leisurely stroll along Tayelet.
