Montreal, Canada to Bangkok is an approximately 22.5- hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight. The time zone difference moving from Eastern Standard Time to Indochina Time is 12 hours. Prepare for much hotter weather when traveling from Montreal in March: high temperatures in Bangkok hover around 40°C and lows are around 30°C. Getting from Bangkok to Khao Lak by combination of flight and shuttle takes about 5.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of flight, bus, and taxi; or drive. Traveling from Bangkok in March, expect a bit cooler with lows of 27°C in Khao Lak. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Thu) early enough to drive to Rawai.
