Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Take a break from Tokyo with a short trip to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama, about 40 minutes away. The adventure continues: don't miss a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine, admire the landmark architecture of Tokyo Tower, take in nature's colorful creations at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and wander the streets of Odaiba District.

Oklahoma City, USA to Tokyo is an approximately 16.5-hour flight. You'll lose 15 hours traveling from Oklahoma City to Tokyo due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Oklahoma City in June, expect nights in Tokyo to be about the same, around 67°F, while days are a bit cooler, around 79°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Tue) so you can take a train to Shizuoka.

Shizuoka

With its upmarket shopping districts and scenic coastal landscape, Shizuoka stands as the main urban area of a province often referred to as Japan's riviera.
Venture out of the city with trips to Kazurayama Castle Ruins (in Susono), Fujikawaguchiko-machi (Fuji View Hotel Japanese Garden, Lake Kawaguchi, &more) and Hakone-machi (Owaku-dani Valley & Lake Ashinoko). There's lots more to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Fuji, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, and admire the striking features of Higashi Gomon Gate.

You can take a train from Tokyo to Shizuoka in 2 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. While traveling from Tokyo, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Shizuoka, ranging from highs of 73°F to lows of 68°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Fri) early enough to take a train to Nagoya.

Nagoya

Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Nagoya: Ise (Kumihimo Hirai, Ise Grand Shrine, &more), Hikone Castle (in Hikone) and Kainan Kodomonokuni (in Yatomi).
