Birthplace of the Italian Renaissance

Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
Dedicate the 6th (Wed) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Gallerie Degli Uffizi, get to know the fascinating history of Piazza del Duomo, snap pictures at Ponte Vecchio, and enjoy breathtaking views from Campanile di Giotto.

Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Change things up with a short trip to Massif de l'Esterel in Agay (about 56 minutes away).
