Prague lures millions of tourists each year with its World Heritage-listed medieval city center--a labyrinth of narrow lanes, bridges, cathedrals, and palaces overlooked by a thousand-year-old castle.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Fri): wander the streets of Lesser Town and then make a trip to Staromestske namesti. On the 13th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the historical opulence of Prague Castle, then pause for some serene contemplation at St. Vitus Cathedral, then don't miss a visit to Prague Astronomical Clock, and finally take in the views from Charles Bridge.

You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Sun): take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), admire the landmark architecture of Dohány Street Synagogue, kick back and relax at Roman Beach, then steep yourself in history at Matthias Church, and finally steep yourself in history at Fisherman's Bastion. Here are some ideas for day two: step into the grandiose world of Vajdahunyad Castle (Vajdahunyadvar), then don't miss a visit to Heroes' Square, then admire the landmark architecture of Hungarian Parliament Building, and finally contemplate the long history of Liberty Statue.

Best known for its celebrated terraced gardens, Ravello is a hidden gem of Italy's Amalfi Coast.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Villa Cimbrone Gardens and Duomo di Sant'Andrea. Visiting Fornillo and Lido Capo di Conca will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Ravello side-trips: Spiaggia Lannio (in Cetara) and Bagni d'Arienzo Beach Club, Positano (in Positano). Le Lavandou, France

Le Lavandou is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. Relax by the water at Plage de Gigaro and Plage du Debarquement.
