Nara is very close to Osaka. Traveling from Osaka in May, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be somewhat warmer in Nara, with lows of 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Fri) early enough to drive to Kyoto.

Traveling by car from Nara to Kyoto takes an hour. Alternatively, you can take a train; or do a combination of train and subway. Expect slightly colder evenings in Kyoto when traveling from Nara in May, with lows around 17°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Tue) early enough to catch the train to Hiroshima.
