Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
On the 28th (Mon), take a stroll through Ginza and then stop by Odaiba. On your second day here, make a trip to Shibuya Crossing, kick back and relax at Odaiba Kaihin Koen (Odaiba Seaside Park), then meet the residents at Ueno Zoo, and finally admire the masterpieces at Tokyo National Museum.

Sao Paulo, Brazil to Tokyo is an approximately 29- hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of bus and flight. The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple will appeal to history buffs. Museum-lovers will get to explore Osaka Shiritsu Toyo Toji Museum and Kyoto International Manga Museum. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Kyoto: Nara (Todaiji Temple Cultural Center & Nara Park) and Dotombori (in Dotombori). There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kinkaku-ji, take in nature's colorful creations at Shosei-en Garden, take a stroll through Arashiyama, and make a trip to Nijo Castle.

Grapple with history and appreciate modernity in Hiroshima, a city known around the world for its tragic past and inspiring rebirth.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Sun): take in the spiritual surroundings of Itsukushima Shrine, look for gifts at Miyajima Omotesando Shopping Street, and then head off the coast to Miyajima. On the 4th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get engrossed in the history at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and then step off the mainland to explore Suo-Oshima.

Traveling by train from Kyoto to Hiroshima takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 30°C in June, and nighttime lows around 23°C. You'll have a few hours on the 5th (Tue) to wrap things up before traveling to Miyakojima.

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Get outdoors at Yonaha Maehama Beach and Aragusuku Beach. We've included these beaches for you: Hora Gyoko no Hama Beach and Sunayama Beach. There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Tomori Imugya Beach, get outside with Painagama Beach, explore the gorgeous colors at Yabiji, and visit a coastal fixture at Higashi Hennazaki Lighthouse.

You can do a combination of train and flight from Hiroshima to Miyakojima in 4.5 hours. Other options are to fly; or do a combination of ferry and flight. Expect somewhat warmer temperatures when traveling from Hiroshima in June; daily highs in Miyakojima reach 36°C and lows reach 30°C. You will have some time to spend on the 9th (Sat) before leaving for home.
