You'll explore and learn at Tokyo National Museum and Edo-Tokyo Museum. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Odaiba District and National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation Miraikan. Step out of Tokyo to go to Mitaka and see Ghibli Museum Mitaka, which is approximately 38 minutes away. The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Let the collections at Kyoto National Museum and Osaka Shiritsu Toyo Toji Museum capture your imagination. Get a sense of the local culture at Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Sanjusangendo Temple. Take a break from Kyoto with a short trip to Todaiji Temple Cultural Center in Nara, about 48 minutes away. There's lots more to do: take a stroll through Gion, take in the spiritual surroundings of Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, examine the collection at Kyoto International Manga Museum, and admire the masterpieces at Hosomi Museum.

Drive from Hakone-machi to Kyoto in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and train; or fly. When traveling from Hakone-machi in October, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Kyoto: temperatures range from °C by day to °C at night. Suzuka is a city located in Mie Prefecture, Japan.As of August 2015, the city had an estimated population of 196,853 and a population density of 1,010 persons per km². On the 10th (Sat), bet on your favorite at Suzuka Circuit, thentake an in-depth tour of Shonojuku Museum, thentake in the spiritual surroundings of Tsubaki Grand Shrine, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kasado Shrine. On your second day here, see the interesting displays at Mizkan Museum and then get in on the family fun at Nagashima Spa Land.
