Kick off your visit on the 29th (Sun): admire the masterpieces at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, then contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande, and then take in the views from Ponte di Rialto. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco, then explore the galleries of Porta della Carta, and then make a trip to St. Mark's Square.

You can do a combination of bus and flight from Venice to Oia in 6.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of taxi, ferry, and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Venice to Oia. Traveling from Venice in October, things will get somewhat warmer in Oia: highs are around 73°F and lows about 64°F.
