Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Get some cultural insight at Rijksmuseum and Zaanse Schans. Visit Anne Frank House and Portuguese Synagogue for their historical value. Change things up with these side-trips from Amsterdam: World Heritage Kinderdijk (in Kinderdijk), Canals area (in Utrecht) and The Hague (Escher in Het Paleis (Escher in the Palace), Panorama Mesdag, &more). Visiting Ile Saint-Louis and Île de la Cité will get you outdoors. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Eiffel Tower and Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte.
