Get a sense of the local culture at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Gateway National Recreation and Ellis Island will appeal to history buffs. Change things up with a short trip to Teatown Lake Reservation in Ossining (about 1 hour away).
