One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace. Get a sense of the local culture at Gwanghwamun Gate and Jogyesa Temple. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Trickeye Museum Seoul, make a trip to Jongmyo Shrine, wander the streets of Insadong, and get to know the fascinating history of Cheonggyecheon Stream.

Explore Tokyo's surroundings by going to Kamakura (Kencho-ji Temple & Ugafuku Shrine ( Goddess of Money Washing)). Traveling by flight from Seoul to Tokyo takes 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of train and ferry. In June, daily temperatures in Tokyo can reach 30°C, while at night they dip to 22°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sun) so you can travel to Kyoto.
