A global center of finance and transportation, Frankfurt is perhaps best known for its futuristic cityscape.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Stadel Museum and Museum fur Kommunikation. Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt and Hessisches Landesmuseum Darmstadt will appeal to museum buffs. When in Frankfurt, make a side trip to see Mathildenhoehe in Darmstadt, approximately Darmstadt away. There's lots more to do: browse the different shops at Bauernmarkt Konstablerwache, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Dreikonigskirche, go for a walk through Mainkai, and examine the collection at Museum Embankment.

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
Galerie Rigassi by SOON and Galerie Wydi will appeal to museum buffs. Step off the beaten path and head to UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern and The Cathedral of Bern. Step out of Interlaken to go to Bern and see Federal Building (Bundeshaus), which is approximately 50 minutes away. There's lots more to do: fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, stop by Buchhandlung Boedeli, identify plant and animal life at Heimwehfluh, and pause for some serene contemplation at Schlosskirche.
