Step off the beaten path and head to Kondoi Beach and Kabira Park. Johannesburg, South Africa to Ishigaki is an approximately 19.5-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 7 hours traveling from Johannesburg to Ishigaki. Miyakojima

Getting from Iriomote-jima to Miyakojima by ferry takes about 5 hours. In March in Miyakojima, expect temperatures between 26°C during the day and 20°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 19th (Thu) early enough to travel to Motobu-cho.

Traveling by flight from Motobu-cho to Tokyo takes 7.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and train; or do a combination of ferry and car. Traveling from Motobu-cho in March, things will get little chillier in Tokyo: highs are around 17°C and lows about 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Tue) so you can take a train to Kyoto.
