In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Mon): admire the striking features of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and then pause for some serene contemplation at Duomo di Milano. On the 16th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: listen to music at La Casa Maledetta, then step into the grandiose world of Castello Sforzesco, and then get lost in a book at Pinacoteca Ambrosiana.

Often referred to as the gem of the Amalfi Coast, Positano remains one of southern Italy's most sought-after vacation locales, thanks to its hillside location and picturesque, pastel buildings.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Positano: Lido Capo di Conca (in Conca dei Marini), Lido di Ravello (in Castiglione) and Villa Rufolo (in Ravello). There's still lots to do: stroll through Fornillo, head outdoors with Walk of the Gods, enjoy the sand and surf at Bagni d'Arienzo Beach Club, Positano, and stop by Feludei.
