Museum-lovers will get to explore Tokyo National Museum and Edo-Tokyo Museum. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Odaiba and Takeshita Street. Take a break from Tokyo with a short trip to Ghibli Museum Mitaka in Mitaka, about 44 minutes away. The adventure continues: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sensō-ji, take a stroll through Ginza, take in nature's colorful creations at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and don't miss a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Tokyo is an approximately 10.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone difference moving from Malaysia Time (MYT) to Japan Standard Time (JST) is 1 hour. Plan for little chillier temperatures traveling from Kuala Lumpur in June, with highs in Tokyo at 30°C and lows at 22°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Thu) early enough to travel to Numazu.

Numazu tourism focuses primarily on what lies just outside of the town, with the urban area providing a base for wider regional, natural explorations.
We've included these beaches for you: Otago Beach and Toi Beach. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Mount Fuji and The Hakone Open-Air Museum. Go for a jaunt from Numazu to Izu to see Wasabi Fields of Ikadaba about 56 minutes away. It doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at Ita Beach and appreciate the extensive heritage of Gempeigawa River.

You can take a train from Tokyo to Numazu in 2 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Tokyo in June, you will find days in Numazu are a bit cooler (27°C), and nights are about the same (24°C). Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Sun) so you can take a train to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Nijo Castle and Kinkaku-ji. Do some cultural sightseeing at Gion and Nara Park. Change things up with these side-trips from Kyoto: Todai-ji Temple (in Nara) and Osaka (Osaka Castle, Dotonbori, & more). There's still lots to do: steep yourself in history at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Ryoanji Temple, look for gifts at Kyo no Takumi, and don't miss a visit to Heian Shrine.

Take a train from Numazu to Kyoto in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and flight. When traveling from Numazu in June, plan for somewhat warmer days in Kyoto, with highs around 32°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 22°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Thu) so you can catch the train to Hiroshima.
