Evora

The city of Evora functions as a museum of Roman origins and medieval times.
Step out of Evora to go to Santiago do Cacem and see Rota Vicentina, which is approximately 1h 30 min away. There's much more to do: make a trip to Capela dos Ossos, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Templo Romano de Evora (Templo de Diana), awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area, and delve into the distant past at Centro Historico de Evora.

The allure of the beaches and the town's historical center draw visitors to Lagos, a coastal destination in the Barlavento region of the Algarve.
Get out of town with these interesting Lagos side-trips: Algar de Benagil (in Benagil), Praia da Rocha (Casa do "Vo" Serafim & Praia Da Rocha) and Percurso dos Sete Vales Suspensos (in Lagoa).
