In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Go for a jaunt from Milan to Bergamo to see La Citta Alta about 1h 05 min away. There's much more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Milano, admire the masterpieces at Pinacoteca di Brera, browse the collection at Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, and contemplate the long history of Chiesa di San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore.

Sao Paulo, Brazil to Milan is an approximately 16-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone difference moving from Brasilia Time to Central European Time is 4 hours. Expect a bit cooler evenings in Milan when traveling from Sao Paulo in May, with lows around 15°C. Venture out of the city with trips to Footpath Monterosso - Vernazza (in Monterosso al Mare), Vernazza (in Vernazza) and Santuario della Madonna dell'Olivo (in Chiavari). And it doesn't end there: stroll through Cinque Terre footpaths, test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, stroll around Parco Naturale Regionale di Porto Venere, and take a stroll through Boccadasse.
