Explore hidden gems such as Nabekanmuriyama Park and Fukuoka City Public Library. Naha, the capital of Okinawa, has deep roots: Stone Age relics have been found in the city, and through the Middle Ages it rose in importance in the Ryukyu Kingdom.
Step off the beaten path and head to Kayaking & Canoeing and Tomari Iyumachi. You can fly from Kagoshima to Naha in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can ride a ferry. Traveling from Kagoshima in November, expect nights in Naha to be much hotter, around 70°F, while days are a bit warmer, around 77°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Mon) early enough to travel to Ishigaki.
