Known as the "judicial capital of the world," The Hague is the center for everything official in the Netherlands: the home of the Dutch government and parliament, the workplace of the King and Queen, and the base of many international affairs such as the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Noordbrabants Museum and Japanese Garden. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like The Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery and Airborne Cemetery. Explore The Hague's surroundings by going to De Wonderlijke Klim (in Den Bosch), Eindhoven (Flying Pins & Bottle Distillery) and Nationaal Park Zuid Kennemerland (in Overveen). Next up on the itinerary: hike along Landgoed Clingendael, take a peaceful walk through Haagse Bos, enjoy the sand and surf at Scheveningen Beach, and wander the streets of Boulevard van Vlissingen.

Toronto, Canada to The Hague is an approximately 10.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of ferry and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. The time zone difference moving from Eastern Standard Time to Central European Time is 6 hours. Expect a daytime high around 15°C in April, and nighttime lows around 4°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
