Get in touch with nature at Mt. Koya and Mt. Omine. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Osaka Castle and Dotombori. Get out of town with these interesting Osaka side-trips: Himeji (Nagoyama Reien Busharito, Himeji Castle, &more), Kobe (Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum, Mt. Maya, &more) and Mt. Takamikura (in Kakogawa). There's lots more to do: find something for the whole family at Universal Studios Japan, see the interesting displays at Glico Museum, take in the awesome beauty at Mt. The time zone difference when traveling from Amman to Osaka is 7 hours. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Amman in March, with highs in Osaka at 16°C and lows at 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 21st (Sat) to allow time to take a train to Nara.

The country's first established capital, Nara houses some of the most storied buildings and natural attractions in Japan, with eight World Heritage Sites in total.
Take a break from the city and head to Nara Park and Waplus Nara. Appreciate the collections at Kusuri no Yakata and Todaiji Temple Cultural Center. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Nara: Byodoin (in Uji), Iwakura Valley (in Iga) and Ise Grand Shrine (in Ise). There's still lots to do: pause for some photo ops at Todai-ji Temple, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kofuku-ji Temple, explore the stunning scenery at Osugi Canyon, and explore the activities along Saho River.

Traveling by train from Osaka to Nara takes an hour. Alternatively, you can drive. In March, plan for daily highs up to 16°C, and evening lows to 8°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Thu) so you can take a train to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Get some cultural insight at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Kinkaku-ji. You'll explore and learn at Kyoto International Manga Museum and Hosomi Museum. Step out of Kyoto to go to Otsu and see Seta Golf Course North Course, which is approximately 40 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: don't miss a visit to Nijo Castle, take a stroll through Arashiyama, have some family-friendly fun at Geisha and Maiko Makeover Experience in Kyoto Gion Aya, and steep yourself in history at Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

Traveling by train from Nara to Kyoto takes an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and subway. Traveling from Nara in March, expect a bit cooler with lows of 5°C in Kyoto. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Wed) early enough to take a train to Tokyo.

Traveling by train from Kyoto to Tokyo takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. In April in Tokyo, expect temperatures between 22°C during the day and 12°C at night. On the 8th (Wed), you'll have the morning to explore before heading back home.
