Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Take a break from Tokyo with a short trip to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama, about 30 minutes away. The adventure continues: get great views at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, take a stroll through Odaiba, make a trip to Meiji Jingu Shrine, and walk around Ueno Park.

Ljubljana, Slovenia to Tokyo is an approximately 17.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of shuttle and flight. Traveling from Ljubljana to Tokyo, you'll lose 8 hours due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Ljubljana in april, plan for a bit warmer nights in Tokyo, with lows around 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Fri) to allow enough time to take a train to Kanazawa.

In april in Matsumoto, expect temperatures between 19°C during the day and 10°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Wed) early enough to take a train to Nagoya.

The castle around which the city of Himeji has developed represents one of the best preserved in the country, and has been designated as a national treasure and a World Heritage Site.
Explore Himeji's surroundings by going to Daisen Outlook (in Mimasaka), Takeda Teramachi Street (in Asago) and Okayama Korakuen Garden (in Okayama). And it doesn't end there: steep yourself in history at Himeji Castle, don't miss a visit to Tarumino Ozakura, take in nature's colorful creations at Koko-en, and go for a walk through Otokoyama Haisuiike Park.
