Reims is home to Champagne--the most celebrated and celebratory wine in the world.
Get a sense of the local culture at Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Reims and Aisne Marne American Cemetery. Discover out-of-the-way places like WineBubbles and Eglise Saint Jacques. Venture out of the city with trips to Abbaye de Trois-Fontaines (in Trois-Fontaines-l'Abbaye), Epernay (Moet et Chandon Champagne Cellars, Champagne Janisson Baradon et Fils, &more) and Village Musee du Der (in Sainte-Marie-du-Lac-Nuisement). There's lots more to do: do a tasting at Champagne Dom Caudron, stroll the grounds of Cimetiere Militaire Britannique de Marfaux, head outdoors with Les Faux de Verzy, and explore the historical opulence of Chateau de Fere-en-Tardenois.

To see other places to visit, maps, reviews, and other tourist information, you can read our Reims tour planning site.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Charles de Gaulle International Airport, Paris-Orly Airport and Paris Beauvais Tillé Airport. In June in Reims, expect temperatures between 27°C during the day and 11°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
