Known nationally as an industrial heartland, Nagoya boasts a far more cosmopolitan and cultural core than its reputation would lead you to believe.
Visit Ise Shrine Geku and Ise Grand Shrine for their historical value. Do some cultural sightseeing at Hinjitsukan and Saiku Histrical Museum. Bangkok, Thailand to Nagoya is an approximately 9-hour combination of flight and train. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone changes from Indochina Time (ICT) to Japan Standard Time (JST), which is usually a 2 hour difference.
