Singapore, Singapore to Nagoya is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Singapore to Nagoya due to the time zone difference. Plan for colder temperatures traveling from Singapore in January, with highs in Nagoya at 7°C and lows at 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Mon) to allow enough time to take a train to Osaka.

You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Universal Studios Japan and Arashiyama. Explore Osaka's surroundings by going to Kyoto (Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Nishiki Market Shopping District, &more), Himeji (Himeji Castle & Koko-en) and Jishu Shrine (in Otsu). And it doesn't end there: get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Koya, examine the collection at Todaiji Temple Cultural Center, and take in panoramic vistas at Kuchu Teien Observatory.

You can take a train from Nagoya to Osaka in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In January, plan for daily highs up to 10°C, and evening lows to 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 31st (Mon) to allow time for the flight back home.
