Take a break from the city and head to Messel Pit Fossil Site and Philosopher’s Walk. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Cathedral of St. Bartholomew (Dom St. Bartholomaus) and The Hauptwache. Change things up with a short trip to Student Jail (Studentenkarzer) in Heidelberg (about 1h 05 min away).
