City of Kings

Reims is home to Champagne--the most celebrated and celebratory wine in the world.
Step off the beaten path and head to Budding and Champagne Janisson Baradon et Fils. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Reims: Champagne Domi Moreau (in Mancy), Epernay (Paul-Etienne Saint Germain, Champagne DOMI, &more) and Oise-Aisne American Cemetery and Memorial (in Fere-en-Tardenois). Next up on the itinerary: learn about winemaking at Champagne G. Tribaut, soak in style at Turkish baths, steep yourself in history at Maison Ruinart, and get engrossed in the history at Museum of the Surrender.

For where to stay, more things to do, maps, and more tourist information, use the Reims trip itinerary planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Charles de Gaulle International Airport, Paris-Orly Airport and Paris Beauvais Tillé Airport. In September, daytime highs in Reims are 72°F, while nighttime lows are 48°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
