Start off your visit on the 20th (Fri): boost your wellbeing at a local thermal spa, make a trip to Shinrokaku, indulge in Japan's hot spring tradition at Dogo Onsengai, then make a trip to Bocchan Wind up Clock, and finally step into the grandiose world of Matsuyama Castle.

Osaka to Matsuyama is an approximately 3- hour combination of bus and flight. You can also drive; or take a train. In March in Matsuyama, expect temperatures between 15°C during the day and 7°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Fri) so you can drive to Kochi.
