Once a small fishing town, Yokohama was one of the first ports to welcome foreign trade in the 19th century, after which it grew into Japan's second largest city and a bustling metropolis.
Venture out of the city with trips to Hakone-machi (The Hakone Open-Air Museum, Lake Ashi (Ashinoko), &more), Lake Kawaguchi (in Fujikawaguchiko-machi) and Maihama (Tokyo Disneyland & Tokyo DisneySea).
