On the 9th (Thu), get engrossed in the history at Yuzukijo Museum, test the waters at a local thermal spa, then don't miss a visit to Bocchan Wind up Clock, and finally make a trip to Shinrokaku. Keep things going the next day: don't miss a visit to Okaido Shopping Street, step into the grandiose world of Matsuyama Castle, make a trip to Dogo Onsen Station, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Ishiteji, then examine the collection at Saka no Ue no Kumo Museum, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Bansuiso.

A modern city and a major transport hub facing Seto Inland Sea, Takamatsu offers a bustling city lifestyle contrasted with carefully manicured, tranquil green areas at the foot of the mountains and the lava plateau.
Start off your visit on the 11th (Sat): see the interesting displays at Kotohira-gu Shrine Omoteshoin, contemplate the long history of Kotohira-gu, make a trip to Kikugetsutei, then go for a walk through Ritsurin Garden, and finally look for gifts at Kagawa Bussankan Ritsurinan.
