Pearl of the Danube

You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Margaret Island and Prehistoric Man Exhibition. Get in touch with nature at Nemzeti Botanikus Kert and Fenyes Education Trail of Tata. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Budapest: Bokod Floating Village (in Oroszlany), Kozmary Kilato (in Matrafured) and Tata (Derito Lake, Old Lake Golf Club, &more).
