Many nature lovers know Rio Grande as the gateway to the only tropical rainforest within the U.S.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Thu): get some fabulous bargains at Trollbeads, then delve into the lush surroundings at El Yunque National Forest, and then take a peaceful walk through Bosque Nacional El Yunque. Keep things going the next day: stop by Caribbean Trading Company Store, kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, and then hike along Big Tree Trail.

Fajardo

Fajardo is a small city and municipality in Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the east region of the island, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, north of Ceiba and east of Luquillo. Start off your visit on the 28th (Tue): make a trip to Bioluminescent Bay and then paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: kick back and relax at Seven Seas Beach, head off the coast to Icacos Island, and then head off the coast to Palomino Island.
