Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Step off the beaten path and head to Notre Dame de Beauvoir and Chapelle Notre Dame du Roc. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Nice: Scuba & Snorkeling (in Frejus), Citadelle de Saint-Tropez - Musee d'histoire maritime (in Saint-Tropez) and Chateau de Grimaud (in Grimaud).
