An industrial town nicknamed "the French Manchester," Mulhouse is famous for its Peugeot factory, esteemed museums, Alsace wine, and cultural riches.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Mulhouse: Colmar (Musée d'Unterlinden, Old Town, & more), Eguisheim (Vieille ville d'Eguisheim & Domaine Christian et Veronique Hebinger) and Vieille Ville (in Riquewihr). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Cite de l'Automobile, admire the local landmark of Saint-Leon Fountain, and make a trip to Mulhouse Alsace Agglomeration.
