Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Thu): take a tour by water with Prime Scuba Ishigaki Diving Center - Day Tour. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 23rd (Fri): kick back and relax at Yonehara Beach, explore the activities along Kabira Bay, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Kondoi Beach.

Miyakojima

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Yonaha Maehama Beach and Sunayama Beach. There's much more to do: take in the views from Irabu Ohashi, see the vivid underwater world at Yabiji, enjoy the sand and surf at Aragusuku Beach, and see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
